I think even the happiest person in the world goes through hard times...
Having been depressed is just normal,if the period is not too long...

I have this kind of feeling sometimes...after being beaten by mom(im 16 already!crazy!),receiving warning letters from school, being ignored by lover, etc

but try not to leep this memory for too long~

Yeah, I feel that way sometimes. But I try not to dwell on things, because that won't help me any _smile.gif

Yeah, I've been through "depression" sometimes...but I don't use the word depress. Just sadness. I get over it eventually though.

My friend said he was clinically diagnosed with depression. =\

im going through it right now, last year was my worst. i would always cry for no reason. now im still going through it, but im not as bad as i used to be, now when im depressed i just get really quiet and dont really talk to anyone and just sit in my room in silence. its weird because i never used to do that before and suddenly im facinated with the silence of being alone in my room. im rambling, so ill stop. mellow.gif

i understand what its like..you know, whats the point? but i try to keep my cup half full, because even when things go wrong and you go through life depressed you're only going to regret it in the end.

also..if you thinnk of all the things that have gone wrong (like 100000) then you get upset, but you need to think of all the good things too...people just look right past them, and all the good things definitly out number the bad..there are so many things to be thankful for

I feel incredibly empty but I'm not really suicidal. Some of my friends are though.. I refuse to understand why so many ppl would want to die at this age... and I refuse to understand cutting. Wouldn't it be more effective to take out your emotions on someone/something else besides yourself? I realize that this may sound dysfunctional as well... but I find great release in hurting someone else. Hurting myself just pisses me off even more.

i think some of you are using the term depressed too lightly.
being sad is just part of growing up. depression is caused by more than just puberty and highschool. it does make you a more negative person however ~_~. its hard to overcome but i hope for whoever is truely depressed that they can get though it

i've gone to a depression state, in middle school, which i personally think is kind of pathetic for me.

now, i just take what life hits me in the bud. i try to always look in the positive side.
