Again, here is the site I was telling you about.

http://rap.about.com/library/blbreakdancecoverpage.htm

And here is another page
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breakdance

And this one has the actual moves from that very page

<<<Bboy.

I heard my shoulder in a car accident so I can't flare and windmill like I once could, but come see me if you want to get shown up poplockin'.

Then you'll understand why I think Omarion is overrated.

Really? You should make a video and show us.

Didn't I make a thread about this?

Anyway.
I do kicks and kick variations. (IE L kicks and such. One handed handstand nikes etc.)
Most if not all the basic footwork. (6 step/one legged swipes etc)
I'm practicing flips and springs.
I can also headspin and do a limited head slide.

Well first I would like to say that dancing is an art, not a sport. If you participate in some dance that I don't know about and that dance is considered a sport, fine, but bboying is an art. That being said, this shouldn't be in the "sports" section. However, seeing as how many people, for whatever reason, be it lack of knowledge or something else, categorize bboying as a sport, then I guess for this to reach most people interested in bboying, then it should be in the Sports section. *Whew* that was a long sentence. But now you know. Truthfully, it should not be here. The Arts is where this thread belongs.

Ayway, for those interested in learning how to bboy, here are some great sites to help you get started or to assist you in your current progress.

www.bboyworld.com
This place is a must. Here, you are able to gain knowledge, seek advice, or download video clips of tutorials and of battles. They have step by step tutorial videos for you to learn from. Most recommended.

Bboy.org
Consists of a mainly beginners, but here you can also learn.

and finally, Youtube also has a lot tutorials if you look. For example, you can type in "windmill tutorial" and you should get some helpful results.

Also, I would like to mention to NOT trust about.com , because I've been on that site myself and many of those articles are unreliable and contain some really silly stuff. There's a good number of false information being given out about bboying on that site, so I wouldn't go there for help.

Before ending my post, I would just like to state that I'm not trying to sound arrogant or anything and that I'm just trying to help those who are interested in becoming involved with bboying. I hope this helped.
