you people are obnoxious. you're haassing people b/c your jealous b/c they can do what you cant.

dont hate, appreciate

its sad that you cant find anything constructive to say rather than just wishing that they'll fall, or criticising them. of course its asport, andso is dance sammi, b/c you have to very fit to do it, and by the end of it, your beat. just because you dont/cant do something, doesn't invalidate people/

if your unhappy with your lives, go cheer up, rather than trying to bring others down with you

grow up.

I personally agree with you, cheerlead IS a sport, but that doesn't mean it's not boring, because I would rather pay attention to the game than at cheerleaders.

oh good grief. if i knew a single cheerleader who isnt was complete obnoxious bitch, perhaps i could be more open. i am in fact. ive gotten over my middle school thing against cheerleaders. nothing against them now. really, kristin, dont hurt me. ehem. i wasnt hating by saying that by being a sport cheerleading is still useless, because i find football, soccer, etc utterly useless as well. but if in fact i could cheerlead, i still wouldnt

well they fell an awful lot during the pep rally and it was far more enjoyable than other basketball games

we do tend to go around in circles an awful lot.

and you know several what? if you mean likable cheerleaders, try naming some who are sophmores at norcross and didnt quit cheerleading after like 8th grade

cheerleading is definitly a sport. people only make up lame excuses because of the old idea that they are snobby and self absorbed or something. they just want to like piss us off or something.

i've done a lot of sports...and nothing compares to cheerleading...and just so you know i'm not only talking about the sidelines. you may see them at basketball games and be like "wtc they are only cheering" but no i mean the real thing..it requires stunting, tumbling, dance, motions, jumps, and cheers...all of those you have to be good at.

and nikki, i dont hate you or anyhting but get this clear:
first of all, the freshman cheerleaders at nhs SUCK. i know that, in reck leage our squad beat them in the cheeroff...but just because they fall in a stunt doesn't mean it isnt difficult...doesnt take away all the hours of practicing it took..i mean, you seirously would never relize what its like until youi try it. i dont see how you guys can judge it just form what you say. you have to go backstage sometimes to understand.

and mysticalazxn...that would be sideline..this is competitive

i definitely dont underestimate the amount of skill/physical activity/whatever constitutes as a difficult, sport or sport-like activity. i mean, i know i could never do it, and i know it requires work, certainly. i mean, even marching band is more physical than it looks, and it doesnt look nearly as physical as competitive cheerleading (maybe more than sideline, but i know that doesnt count). but see the thing is, im not ignorant about cheerleading. ive made some stupid comments on cheerleading in the past, but really, im not against it. i dont like it, but i dont like most sports, so in that respect, that doesnt make me like it more at all. i have nothing against them, you, etc, really. i held some stupid grudges in middle school, but believe me, im way beyond that now.

ive never actually watched the freshmen cheerleaders. it was competition and varsity basketball cheerleaders who were having a bad day on the pep rally. like an insanely large amount fell. more than all this and last basketball seasons put together

I also agree that dance is a sport, so dont think I meant that only cheerleading was.. in my squad we incorporate dance too! And I am a cheerleader and I am not an obnoxious bi***! People really think I am, but I am not! People stereotype cheerleaders too much! ...its not fair that people hate you just because of what you enjoy doing! I love cheerleading and it is my life! I also teach cheerleading to K-2nd graders who look up to me and watch my moves as an experienced cheerleader! It really is an honor to be a cheerleader and I really dont think people need to judge us because "they dont think we work hard."
