sweet 16 in NYC, i need help!!

Heyy. I`m turning 16 in a month [March 12th] & I`m planning to spend a nite in NYC with 7 of my friends. I have the hotel booked & stuff but I need a main event! I have a couple ideas like ice skating & stuff, but I would really appreciate if you guys could give me some more suggestions. If you live in or around NYC & have and ideas or suggestions for something cool to do could you post? Thanks soooo much!!!

Anyone got something that would take up like at least 2 hrs? Anyone know any cool [but safe] teen hangouts?


I`m DESPERATE. Invitations have to go out by Monday!!!

You must go to Serendipity 3. It's this fantastic little ice cream/chocolatier place. I forgot where it is though, I need to go check.

Edit: It's on East 60th Street between 2nd and 3rd Avenue.

I sgree with the wicked thing, but you must go to times squares and 5th ave, its just soo awesome. Plus there is always cute british teens there... yummy =]

These are ALL awesome suggestions, but I need a main event. We're gonna be hanging out in Times Sq & stuff but we're there for the whole nite so I need some kind of organized event. I`m going insane planing this stupid party.

wicked shows are sold out until next october.

The current phantom cast isn't so great. i suggest mamma mia or rent

My friend actually did this, i just remembered. She rented out the vip room at a club, and we had it all to ourselves. It was amazing. Do that and they will be talking about it for months

but it might seem awkward to some people because it`s a place full of drag queens. but it is so much fun! seriously. i went and i had a blast!

they also have this guy that makes balloon hats. the balloons are somewhat.. perverted. but appreciative at the same time.

i sure want my sweet 16 there. shifty.gif

well that`s my twisted idea for ya.

lols, i live here, what you can do is during the night time walk around time square, it is absoutly GORGEOUS. you can watch a movie in the threatre, i went once but i forgot the movie theatre name, its was awesome inside. lols or what i always wanted to do was go to the studio of TRL and sit there and watch instaed of the dumb television
