Here's a song I wrote last night
 Like the bleeding heart mine hangs from a tree black & white no one comes to see if i'm alright fainting light love drips from beginning to end in this lovely fairy-tale that ends where it began so long ago so long ago that the day has passed it's gone & went my heart has been disappointed again by it's only friend searching for the true end this story seems so far from gone i've given it all that i have which wasn't enough enough for you it's done you took all that i had my heart beats out of time like a broken drumline why don't you care about mine? my feelings & emotions why have they disappeard? i've filed my complaint why won't you wait for me? stop pretending you're fine just for this one time like the bleeding heart mine hangs from a tree no on comes to see if i'm alright fainting light love drips from beginning to end in this demented fairy-tale that ends where it began so long ago so far away that this day has passed it's gone & went my heart has been disappointed again by it's only friend i saw it in your eyes your lonely demise |
