okay so im trying to use this pic for my regular pic. u no in the general box..but it wont let me ? i got it from this site here : (its the teal pic of johnny depp near the bottom)

that's because it isn't. php is a file extension; they're not for images.
EDIT-sorry i read it wrong. you have to get the url for the image or save it yourself as a jpg or gif and upload it. |

Just take the image, right click, press 'Save As' save it, upload it in profile pics, and that should do it. For me, it automatically saves it as JPG. |

Try saving it as .PNG, too. I saved mine as PNG that way and it still works.

Save it. Open it up on any paint program. [If you're lazy, just go to Paint] open the icons. go to file>save as>and save it as .PNG.

Just save it in your computer, and go to your profile pics page and Xanga will upload it for you.
