The only song I listened to was "Good Bye Forever", and judging from that one song, their style reminds me a little of Linkin Park's. mellow.gif

Er.. I can't say I was too impressed.

Gatsby's American Dream, Acceptence are pretty popular, not so much underground.

When you said "Blane," did you mean.. Bane?
If not, then ignore.

God, I've missed this thread.

A few bands:
- Learning by Braille
- From Bubblegum to Sky (Though already mentioned.. Listen to "Hello Hello Hi")
- Mister Metaphor (I think they broke up? Someone help confirm this?)
- The High Speed Scene (Reminds me of Weezer huh.gif)

has moneen been mentioned? i'm not a huge fan, but they're probably my favorite math rock band that i've heard. "are we really happy with who we are right now?" is kind of cheesy and sounds too much like taking but sunday, but it's so damn catchy.

mhm. I have heard a couple of Moneen's tracks. Not all that impressive, although I rather like "Pleasantly Saying The". In terms of math rock, I rather like Faraquet. "The View From This Tower" was an amazing album.

the crossed out ones are really not underground. the ones i didnt cross out i either havent heard of, because i deal more in bands than singers, or are a bit more underground. but geez, weezer?!

i don't know much about underground music. it's a bit confusing. one minute, the band/artist is completely obscure, the next thing you know, MTV is pimpin' them all over the place. i don't why the hell i put weezer on that list. blink.gif

I just got re-obsessed with another Metric song. It's called "The Twist" and I just can't stop listening to it.

pauline recommened "plastic stars" by them awhile back. they're pretty good, but some of their songs sound almost... too retro for my liking.

Those are definitely not "lesser known" bands, especially Jack's Mannequin.
