purevolume.com might have mp3's available to download, but only certain songs.

download a p2p program:
limewire.com
slsknet.org
aresgalaxy.org

search for an artist, and download it from there.

i love seventeen. it makes me happy. even if i do happen to be of the opinion that they need more than 4 lines of lyrics

Mount Sim's "Black Sunglasses" is pretty good, though I don't like it as much as I like Dirty Sanchez's "f**king on the Dance Floor".

Basil the Mouse is really underground (synth pop). I'm friends with their vocalist/keyboardist. Sweet boy.

i've heard a lot about gravy train. i think i'll check them out.

i finally downloaded some blood brother's songs. they're pretty good. "crimes" is probably my favorite.

i rediscovered metric today. i was going through old songs on my ipod, and i can't believe i never fell in love with them. awesome.

I lovelovelovelovelove (repeat x infinity) Metric. Fan of their's for years. I think they were the first "indie" band I've ever listened to.. and Emily's voice = wub.gif

The Blood Brothers have the coolest lyrics. Sort of creepy, but that's the way I like it. "Love Rhymes with Hideous Carwreck" is definitely my favorite song of their's.

Gravy Train.. Heh. They're pretty much "queercore". The lyrics are probably a hundred times worse than some of Peaches' stuff. :x

"I'm So L.A." by Mynx makes me smile.

Right now, I am currently obsessed with the American Analog Set.

"succexy" by metric is an awesome song. i'll have to buy one of their cds.

haha, yeah, gravy train's lyrics are a lot worse, but they seemed more playful than peaches. i don't know, they just don't sound as threatening.

i'm currentally obsessing over her space holiday. the lyrics and everything are just genius.

The American Analog Set - "The Postman"
is Kevin Devine/Her Space Holiday/The Unicorns esque.

I dunno, you be the judge of that. wink.gif
