ALIGATORS
those are magical for flattening your stomach, at least for 2 minutes a day you'll have results in like 2 weeks, and ya know running and situps wouldn't hurt in addition

QUOTE(Programmer @ Feb 3 2005, 11:27 PM) *
yeah i know imma guy...in the girls locker room....get over it....
I've been working out for about 3 years now....it takes time your not gonna see results in one day....do a series of half way lifting sit ups to work your lower abs to define them. then make your elbows go toward your opposite knees in a pattern regular sit up, left leaning sit up ,right leaning sit up...regular, left, right..do this about 50-150 times..(This depends if your a beginner you should gradually work your way into more). Then do the full lifting sit up. regular, left, right...regular, left, right, in the same manner..to work on the upper abs..(50-150). after about a month - 3 months you'll see some nice results....trust me. if your only gonna work out one day...don't even bother.

Hint: Make a schedule M- W- F- Sunday... give your muscles a chance to heal the day after the workout. without the proper healing you won't get any results. But you will gain strength. for definition on your stomach you MUST LET YOUR MUSCLES HEAL.
well need any more tips let me know...

well that sounds like a good idea my friends all say im skinny or at least normal but to me i think i need to lose some of my tummy haha well what this guy said sounds good to me well my boyfriend works out and he has really nice abs and i told him about me wanting to lose some of my stomache fat i asked what was better crunches or sit ups he said crunches because they're good for beginners and they dont have as much rest time i dont know what he meant by that but by taking a look at his abs i'll just take his advice do crunches at night and take a rest in betwen because if you're a beginner it'll hurt like hell trust me i've started working mine out so yea

Key words; Just Excercise.
Do it all. Everyday. Push ups, sit ups, jogging, play a sport, get a 24 Hour Fitness membership if you have to.

for like 2 years now i've been consistantly working out every other night.. double the nights when my tv shows come on or a good movie. during commericals, ignore them and do as many repetitions of situps/crunches/pushups w/e you want until the commerical break is over. i can usually average about 350 during a half hour show, but i'm fit enough to do them quick.

work up the endurance! & concentrate. don't do it halfway.

What everyone says:

Eat healthier & start excersizing. [sp]

do around 12 cruches rest for 30 seconds and do some more of them.
Do other works out of course too, if you look in the health section you probably would find more.

Well other than sit ups, you can try doing reach ups or leg throws. Theyre tough but its worth it!
