counter, i'm new |

I added a counter to my xanga, and it ended up in the bottom right hand corner of the page, which is exactly where i dont want it, since i have a background pic there too, and i dont want to move it. i saw on someone else's xanga that they had theirs in the bottom left hand corner, and it was the same counter as mine. how can i move mine to the center or to the left?
