Okay, so im making a vexel right now, but whenever im on the hair, it gets REALLY edgy, and not smooth at all. Is there a way i can smooth it out besides the Modify>Smooth thing, cause that really doesn't help, it just takes away all the edge to it.
This is for Photoshop.

Smooth like that.. you know how it all curves? Or do you just have to have very steady hands and have to do it really slowly? o.O

try holding down when you click [using the pen tool] to make curves. or for hair, use the technique described in this tutorial:
