Adobe Illustrator, the good the bad or the ugly?

I'm having some trouble using illustrator, and I thought it would be better than psp, but i was.. wrong. >,<

Or maybe it's just me. stubborn.gif

What's everybody's opinion on illustrator cs?

i can't understand Illustrator. I prefer Photoshop or PSP.

i don't use illustrator. vectoring probably isn't my thing anyway. i just love photoshop.

Illustrator is a bitch to learn. I have the trial and it's making me doubt my wanting to buy it (I can get it for only $99). I'll just stick with PS 7 for the time being.

Well, it does. But for "normal" things, it's a bit difficult.

Yeah, when I first got Illustrator 10, I was like "Whatthehell.." So then I deleted it. And now that I know how to vector it's awesome.

I'm confused because Illustrator hates me, first off, and besides, my vector came out just fine photoshop...is that weird? what can illustrator do that photoshop can't vector wise? blink.gif

i tried vectoring with it..and it's confusing to me. so i just stick with vexeling on photoshop..i mean you usually can't really tell at first sight whether it's a vexel or vector anyway.

i think that vectoring on illustrator is pretty easy compared to photoshop..but then i don't have the patience to vector..haha
