Agh, yesss, and it bothers me. And my mom is so nosey. Every week she always asks "Sooo, how's ______ doing in school?" Then if I tell her so and so was doing bad, she goes "I'm so proud of you, Leslie." Gah.

Sometimes they do, especially when they compare me to my older cousins, it kinda brings me down because it feels like they don't think I can be as successful as they are.

holy smacks. don't even get me STARTED about this. my mom has 455456465465465465465465465465 people to compare me with. and she smacks all their good qualities into one and expects me to be that. it really irritates me just because i don't give a crap about what she expects of me and she knows it. yet continues to talk. -_-x

my parents compares me to everyone.. from my cousins, to my sibings, to their friend's childrens, even to my friends.. it pisses me off a lot.. but i'm quite used to it.. i'd just ignore them. =/ nobody's perfect.

O God, asian parents do it all the time..well to me at least...When they do..i jsut listen, no point in argueing .-. I dont really mind though, despite the fact that i'm not that person they are comparing me to...and that i'm their son.... not someone else  |

Pssh, of course! My half-sister was Salutorian at her highschool and I have to live up to that.
If I get on the top 15, maybe my parents will stop comparing me to people. And it's not just about school...She compares me to my sister or to other people. That I need to get taller (well sorry mom, but my father was SHORT, so how the hell am I going to get taller?!), that I need to clean my room (just my desk which has all this schoolwork on it lol), etc. *sweatdrop* |
