Renaming the blogring links |

I know you can rename the names of the people whom you are subscribed to, but is there any way to rename the links to the blogring? What I'm looking to do is make them smaller on my site. I really wish I could just have the links instead of the "next" "random" and "previous" buttons. Any ideas?

i tried that code but it's not being friendly. none of the changes i'm making are showing up even though i'm keeping the same amount of words in the old and new word banks
