Custom Modules:
Play with the numbers [#] for a while. Negative numbers can be used. Music: Place inside of the custom modules, before </div> -Edit SONG TITLES & SONG URLS- 1. To add more songs, add... but be aware of the value. 2. Then add... again with the numbers |

i believe she's using divs. you can find a tutorial on how to do that, in the "tutorials" section. if you want it in a custom right module, place your dropdown playlist (script can be found under "music" in the xanga scripts section) into this script here: where it says "module stuff here" and then paste it into your website stats

i tried the first way suggested, but i get this huge blank space at the bottom under ym play list (i pu tmine in webstats not in custom header) adn i just tried the second way which works, but my right column ends up being really wide since the player is kinda wide adn i already have stuff on my right side too (a chatterbox, couple modules using the saem paul chen script). I am not very good with these script, so i really appreciate u guys helping me.
I was hopign for a player with a pause and stop button like the one on the first website i saw. Since i dont' use divs. i probably can't do that. any more ideas?? |

Here, add this code below to your website stats section after you've added all your songs to it. This code will give you a right side module with the drop down list music player already inside. Edit the colors, size, and your songs as needed. I tested this module except the player itself and it should work so long as you put the correct values for your songs and URLs in the right places.

i just tried it and i get a player on teh right and everything, but it won't play the music. Sometimes music will play in teh background, but it will be a random song from teh list adn u can't select one to play or stop it. Either that or it wont' play at all.
Heres the script i am using for the right side modules, i probably did somehting wrong. thanks **whats a radio blog??** |

here, i fixed your script. you had some errors in your player code. when i re-tested the songs they all worked. i set it to not randomly play a song. copy and paste this code instead.
p.s. Radioblog is a special player that lets you stream music onto your website. for more info in Radioblog go here: http://www.radioblogclub.com/ This post has been edited by ryan_73: Jan 25 2005, 03:12 AM |

hmm...it might be conflicting with another script of yours which is why your site hangs or doesn't load completely. does your browser display an "script error" at the bottom left side of the status bar when you press the play button? also what browser are you using?
