Shell replacers, for those of you who don't know, take Windows XP's original theme and replace it with custom images... so it has a new and completely different theme.

I was curious if any of you knew:

Do they have Spyware?
Do they slow down your computer?

If you get them from a trusted site you'll be ok, I use an XP theme and have had no problems. I dont remember the site its from but I could probably google it if needed.

I use a program called WindowBlinds. You can check out Stardock's Site Here. You can download it here. If you e-mail me, I can give you all the info I have to help you along.

They technically would make your computer slower, just not enough to notice, unless it is already slow.

Well, finally I downloaded WindowsBlinds. It made my dekstop look nice. I uninstalled it because I had this awful feeling it was going to ruin the rest of the .msstyles on my new computer. I'm thinking about downloading it again, and not being a wimp.
