I am a HUGE band geek. Band is my LIFE! Woot Woot! When band camp takes up almost a month and a half of your summer, then you will know what I am talking about, and when you have to stand out in 20 degree weather over fall break working on the competition show for marching band, then you can say you are a band geek. I mean, I even have special gloves that have the fingers cut off so that I can play and march during practice so my fingers dont get cold, and they arent normal uniform gloves either. So, yeah. I'm a band geek. I talk non-stop about band! Yeah! It's awesome!!! But, I don't have AIM or anything like that so. Yeah. BYE!!!!!!!!

o nikki remember how we used to make fun of the small bands? well my firends moved to ohio and hes in an A band...it was really tiny! almost the whole field was filled with props... i saw them marching and i couldn't stop laught

small bands are funny. really, they are. especially when they have no colorguard. or when the colorguard if parthically awful. i the worst guards (or lack there ofs) at brookwood. (we soo shouldve gotten 3rd or at least 4th at that competition )

someone voted in my band topic and bumped it, and then no one posted so it just died and i couldnt save it, as it was the last one to post already. dont torment me like that

i play clarinet for concert, marching, and county band and tenor sax for jazz band (me and my friend have to transpose trombone parts because there's only 1 good trombone in the band >.<). my name's julia, i go to bhms in pennsylvania, and my sn is melon x farmer.

we got our jazz band uniforms today (clip-on bow tie and strap-on vest xP) and me and my friend wore the bow ties all day to show our jazz band pride x)

oooh thats fun! the only parades we did this year were the homecoming parade (downtown norcross, of which there isnt much to speak of). it took about 3 minutes after school. what a complete waste of time driving over there. then one saturday morning we had a slightly bigger fall festival parade we have every year. still pointless, but at least a bit longer. another waste of time though, because right after that we had to go to a competition.

were getting new uniforms. im going to miss the old ones. the new ones have some flaws. like the stipe thingy i detatchable, so itlle be annoying and come up like parkviews. and they dont have capes. i like our capes :[

also, our band is supposed to be huge next year. in comparison at least. we have like 140 now, but next year were supposed to have like 200, because the recruitment process is going better than usual

Orr maybe I'm just too obsessed with band.. MARCHING SEASON IS OVER.. I STILL CANT GET OVER IT.. T.T

we did a parade once.. it was cool. we marched around horse poop.. the flutes were right behind the us (the guard). but yeah. it was GREAT! marching in the middle of the street for 4 hours while little kids waved and smiled at us. ^^

AHHH, band geeks!!! Naw, just kidding. I'm not in the band, but a bunch of my friends are. Although, the band hallway does have some problems. People laying accross the floor, others humming and cutting up pictures (its true!), the lights flicker, and there is always somebody going into their lockers cause the school didn't give the band people locks, they have to buy 'em. It's always an adventure goin' into that hallway...
