I know sure enough I'm a band geek. I play french horn, trumpet, trombone, tuba, clarinet and saxophone. I'm working on flute. This is my first year in a high school band. I started learning music when I was 5 though.

If we ever followed to our plans, this should've been the year we went to Europe.

I hope it'll pass for you.

April 21! Get to skip Friday =). I wish we came home on Sunday, but we had to come on Saturday.

Question: Are your band trips mandatory?

It really was because that the other band trips weren't mandatory that made the trips unsuccesful the last four years...therefore no Europe this year. sad.gif

Nope. Which sucks, because then hardly anyone goes.

But then again, less people to complain about airfare prices.

True, it would be tons better if everyone went. It's a shame hardly no one in our band is involved at all. sad.gif

I think if they got involved just once, they'd realize how fun it really is.

Miss Criss, hello! It seems as if band geeks just have a bond together immediately, doesn't it? You can have nothing in common, to a lot of common.

we leave on a wendesday and come back sunday

ours arent mandatory. we dont have sponsors or anything, so we have to take buses instead of planes, and it still costs too much for some people

I wish we could come back on Sunday...but it was a Jewish holiday, so the school required us to all come back before Sunday.

We just take the bus...Las Vegas to San Diego. It'd be kinda silly to take a plane, haha. That's already $185 per person.

I love meeting random people. I find that I like most band geeks. tongue.gif

xd0rkette: violin=band?
