that doesnt work either... its makes from my left side modules to my right all WHITE like one big square

I'm not sure what you want, for all your entry bg's to be white and not the modules to be white? give me a link

make the table .blogbody class with #ffffff as the background-color... don't forget the "#"

what largosama said should work, or you could try a semi- transparent background, there is a code for that in the xanga scripts
