I have a LOT of books for school, but I usually don't bring all of them home at the same time.. In my backback today are:
-my REALLY big World History textbook & binder
-my medium-sized Algebra 2H textbook & notebook
-my REALLY thick English/Literature book & notebook
-my really thin Latin workbook (hah I love this book) & binder
-my Biology binder (though I don't know why I brought this home when I don't have Bio homework tonight.. ><)

I was only assigned a total of 3 books to check out, since we only have 6 classes (periods). My AP Biology book is about 1080 pages (it's very big!) and my heaviest book is my AP US History book (Inveting America) which is a little over 1100 pages, and it's bigger than the AP Bio book pinch.gif My AP Calculus book is a little elss than 700 pages, and it's not that heavy. I can put it in my backpack and it won't be that heavy.

But I am never obligated to carry my APUSH book since my teacher lectures the whole period and tells us we don't have to bring it. The AP Bio book.. maybe once or twice a month we have to bring it. And my calculus I have to bring almost every day.. It's all good :]

QUOTE(linke3 @ Jan 12 2005, 5:05 PM)
haha, yeah. the only thing i carry in my bag is a 1 inch binder, and a folder. Once in a while, I'll be carrying the book I'm assigned to read for English.

Eeek 1 inch pinch.gif It's all about half-inches! Bleh one-inch binders are sorta bulky.. =P

These are a pain in the back. I have a medium sized Spanish book, A thick U.S. History [Now do we need to know all that?] book, I also have to carry the binders of other subjects, notecard box, and a workbook. Last semister I had to carry a huge Algebra II book and w/b along with a thick English book, and 4 reading book. And they wonder why are backs are bad.

At my school, we divide our schedule in half and they're double blocked (90 minutes long). So one day, we have the even hours (white days) and the other day is odds (red days). The days alernate...

Red Days:
A few of folders
2 notebooks for French
gym clothes
plus other stuff in my messenger bag

White Days:
Science Book
1/2 inch binder full of notes
History Book
1 inch binder also full of notes
plus other stuff in my messenger bag

Urgh.....i hate white days....doens't sound like much to carry, but its heavy. pinch.gif
