Over paid athletes, are they making to much? |

Do you think that athletes are payed to much money?
Im sort of back and forth on the issue. They do have a lot hard work to do but I dont think it requires a 10 million dollar salery. |

i dont think anyone should make more than 1 million in sports...bottom line. thats money that could go somewhere useful in the u.s

Athletes are getting paid alot... or mostly in baseball and sports like that.
i though athletes liked to play the game was the cause, not play the game for a cause, to get money. |

Athletes get paid far too much.
Some get paid too much to spend all of it. Its rediculus. People are starving out there whilst idiots like Soccer Playas get payed shitloads just for poncing aroung on a soccer pitch |

no... they make revenue for tv, ads, etc so they should get paid.... thats why WNBA players dont get paid as much.. cause they arent making the league any money

that's why there is a lockdown with the hockey team in canada. they got paid too much and not a lot went to the coaches, but when it came time for the money to decrease, stupid selfish a-holes decided not to play cause they wouldn't be paid as much. yeah keep on demanding more money as people are dying of hunger and homelessness and could be used elsewhere.

It depends on the situation and the player himself. For example Vince Carter and Tracy McGrady are two overplayed players on my list. They have even made statements that they slack off in a actual game and are just drawing a paycheck. On the otherhand, you take someone like Michael Jordan who has proper work ethics and you will say no he is not overpayed.
For the most part the players are overpayed though. None of the players in sports really care if they win or lose just as long as they get a paycheck. Tell me would you want to pay money just to see someone slackoff and make more money in one night than you do in a whole year. |

athletes are definately overpaid. whats even worse is that lots of athletes dont really care about the game as much. their love for the sport diminish to an obligation just to get money.
