okay so im trying to make layouts for other people and my internet explorer wont work. i have both netscape and mozilla, but they distort the layouts i make. i was wondering if anyone knew how to change the settings on mozilla so that it looks like the page i made on internet explorer because i dont want to make a screwed up layout...

hi, try to follow the w3 standards as closely as possible. in theory, all browsers are *supposed* to follow these standards.
for xhtml: http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/ for html4: http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/ theyre a long read, i know. |

use the
w3c html validator: http://validator.w3.org/ & w3c css validator: http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ it will fixes all the unwanted html and all the standard form all browsers support. |
