Black and White Photo, how do you do it?

i need help. i want my profile picture to be black and white but the problem is that i don't know how to do it! can someone please help me?

Image -> Adjustment -> Desaturation (if you have PS7)

thanks you guys!! it means a lot to me, i'll try to do it.... but i have adobe photoshop album 2.0 or something... how do you do that on there?

You can't convert color pictures into black and white photos on MS Word. blink.gif
You mean MS Paint. wink.gif

well im not sure if its the same for photoshop 2.0 but open your image and go to image>mode>grayscale

well, there is a script for having your pictures black and white in the scripts section. but i think if you hover over it, it changes back to the original color. you might want to check that out.

ooo, i tried doing the black and white photo on the adobe photoshop 2.0 and it didn't work..... i don't know why.

If you mean you have Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0, it should work by going to Image>Mode>Greyscale..if it doesn't, I don't know what to say.
