Does your school have a zero tolerance policy? Is it reasonable or over the top?

if you don't know what it means, it's basically where school officials show no leeway on matters such as drugs. When I mean, no leeway, I mean no leeway.

It's good, for example, when a student found in procession of drugs is properly punished and/or suspened or expelled. If a 10 year old can be charged as an adult in an accidental murder case, why can't a high school student be charged and punished as an adult in a drug procession case?

however, most schools are taking it way out of hand. it's beginning to lose all reason and logic when it comes to punishing students. for example, there are numerous cases where students were expelled or suspended for taking medicine. One girl was even suspended for some odd number of weeks for giving her friend a cough drop.
