I scanned my computer with a free scanner, I have over 200 "things" of spyware on my computer...I want to remove it but I don't know where I can get a good free remover on the net. I tried googling it, but every one I tired said I needed to pay and sh*t to get rid of it. So annoyed. Do you know of any that can help my poor computer and my sanity?

Ad-Aware. That's what I use.

But It's not good for the first time you scan your computer. Because when I did it, I had 824 spy ware applications and I had to click them each manually. EVERY SINGLE ONE. EIGHT HUNDRED AND TWENTY FOUR CLICKS.

Ad-Aware and Spybot Search and Destroy is the most common spyware remover. Search for both of these programs on google or something.

You also can use a popup blocker to stop most spyware from appearing (since people get most of these spyware stuff from popups)

AVG from grisoft.com and Zone Alarm from zonelabs.com are both great anti-virus and firewall utilities. Then, in addition, get Ad-Aware from lavasoft.com and Spybot Search&Destroy from safer-networking.org These along with Firefox (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/central.html or anything other then IE) make your computer almost 90% safer.

Ad-aware is the best free program, spybot is ok but having both on your computer actually weakens both programs. Also everyone who uses IE should have CWSshredder on their computer too. Another great tool is Ccleaner, cleans all you internet files, cookies, unused files, and everything else. Hell just go to Major Geeks
