I know this isn't my promblem but I have a friend who is going out with this one guy but she wont talk to him or he wont talk to her. Its really annoying because meeh and all my other friends worked so hard to get them together. We did but they seem to not talk to each other or call each other. Is there anyway to get them to talk to each other?

Ever consider they don't want to be together? And it's all an illusion that you and your friends made by forcing them on each other?
You and your friends' wants may not be what she wants. I can see that you guys just ruined their relationship more by making them get together, and now they don't talk to each other. When it's all over, it'll suck for both sides. Bring them to a party tonight. |

Not True!! becuz my friend told meeh she likes the Guy alot and she alawys talk about him on aim. The guy alawys talk about her. but they wont talk to each other

its because you guys forced it. you guys gotta encourage her, yes, but don't push them together. They g2 do that themselves. Now they are in a forced situation and they are very uncomfortable.. It all goes down from here. Unless they start talking BY THEMSELVES.

they are both shy.
QUOTE its because you guys forced it. and yes.. that too. it's because of that, that they dont have the courage to face eachother. because u guys were the one who were the "cupids", i think they should've created a relationship themselves, so that they wouldn't be shy.. because they've already been through the process of "asking eachother out" (a.k.a. greater shyness). my friends set me and one of of the guys up before. we didnt talk for like 2-3 days.. until my friend told me that he complained we arent doing anything. i was just like "aww.. he shouldn't think that" and something happened =]. we talked =].. and we were actually more like a couple then strangers then. but he's an ex.

why does everyone think them not talking to each other is a bad thing?
isn't it natural to feel awkward and uncomfortable around people you like? because you tend to think before you speak and dont want to say anything stupid, so you tend to become less talkative, etc etc just it them some time, just the fact that you said that they are going out, it means something |

maybe theyre both just shy. to loosen up things why dont you all go on a group date. maybe go watch a movie. go with her and your friends and him and his friends. that way, maybe they'll both loosen up.

Leave them alone. They need to work stuff out on there own. If they are too shy to have a relationship at all, they shouldn't even be in one. You really need to back off and let them decide on what to do.

it might be becuz it's awkward...your friends and yourself included hooked them both up..why would you do that in the first place??You should've let nature take it's course and let things unfold on their own...don't try anything anymore...the two of them should be old enough to figure it out themselves...learn to stand by this instead of 'trying' to help...

maybe yall can go on a group date together (to get her to go out, because she seems to be kinda shy around that guy), like to the movies, then kinda leave them a few seats away, and maybe they will get to know each other
