ehh ill go with Parkway Drive, Across Five Aprils and Skycamefalling over underoath anyday. Underoath is way too overrated and way to light for me.

That would be due to the fact that Underoath went thorugh 2 different member changes, causing it to basically become a new band. Also when your frontman leaves the band truly changes.

I actually like both, even though they are close to extremes in difference. (Whoa. I didn't even see this topic before. Haha.)

I like the "new" Underoath better. You're right about the drummers voice & the new guys voice sounds better together.

um.. the "old" underoath changed their frontman and singer..

and the "new" underoath comes off as more... poppy i guess. its making underoath fanatics mad.

I wouldn't say poppy...they're just like...metal core now...opposed to them being a different type of metal before.

oh.,.. but i meant that if you compare old underoath by new underoath, new underoath is a little less metal and a tad bit poppier. wink.gif

Underoath is pure hardcore... Metal Core are bands like Skycamefalling and Theycameburning.
