I need help with an animated banner!

I made an animated banner but it wont show up. and if it does it isnt animated, its just the first slide in it. i put <img src="url"/> but its not working....Im trying to make it my first image "like the header" in there but its not working. What do i do?

errrrm try using the frames as jpgs... sounds like you used .bmp frames o.O
