^^ *clears throat* EXCUSE ME??

No, I'm joking...I don't suck up to anyone. I mean, I'll be nice and give compliments, but to anyone who does a good job on their creations and/or gives effort. That's about it. *shrugs*

Hmmm. yawn.gif There's suck ups everywhere... school.. internet.. bleh. I won't say any names but yea I tend to see a few of them around.

I don't think anyone "sucks up" to me. But if they did, they should know that I won't really be doing them any favors or anything revolving around cB or xanga, so they shouldn't expect much from me.

I don't suck up to people. If I think something's nice or whatever, I'll compliment them. I'm not going to suck up to someone just so I can be liked or whatever.

So I ask you...the suck ups of cB...why?

Is there really a point to suck up to most of the mods and members...just because they're "popular"/"powerful"? Kinda sad...especially since it's online...losers.

If no one replies...it cause you can't face up suck-up-ness. laugh.gif

i think it helps..
if you dont know who the admins are...

hey, now. you need to understand the pressure that teens feel. it's natural at this stage of moral development for teens to feel the need to be accepted by those with "status." if you've ever read novels such as The Ruling Class by Francine Pascal, you'd be exposed to the teenage need of acceptance. i don't think that it's right to mock them, since you've probably felt the need to "suck-up" yourself. "sucking up" is caused by a lack of security in one's own individuality, so maybe encourage confidence instead of calling people "sad losers"?

i think you can tell the difference between actual compliments and sucking up. and i don't. its annoying. the only time i do is sometimes when i'm desperate for something from my parents...

Yeah, I mean, I understand being nice too them since they're higher ranks and things... but seriously... it's os annoying... taking sides... complimenting them on every little thing, agreeing with them... some of them aren't even that nice. (No offense... but... some of them... I dunno... cuz once in this picture forum... ) Well yeah... you get it... it's kinda stupid... I mean you don't even know them!

sucking up online = pathetic. only need to be appreciative and admiring... a few certain compliments doesn't really mean they deliberately suck up... it juss seems that way to others.

hm...very insightful, and very true. I think that everyone has the need for acceptance though, and it is not only teens who desire to be wanted, loved, and accepted.

If you can't get accepted/liked in real life, you might as well be online.
