do your parents(especially asian parents) open gifts slowly and carefully so they can save the paper for other times. mine do, and i find it extremely annoying pinch.gif. they also save the little bags people put gifts in. once, we gave the same bag back to the the person who gave it to us.

lmao...actually I'm the one that does that. Sometimes if I find really nice wrapping, I take off the tape carefully...it takes me a while to open it...then again I barely get any presents. mellow.gif

But I never give back the same bag back to the person who gave it to us...I usually find a use for it. *storage, etc.*

My parents tell me to just tear apart the wrapping... laugh.gif

My parents did it for awhile but then we realized we always end up losing the wrapping paper. Besides you can tell if its been used and you just end up looking really cheap

My parents save the bags but when it comes to gift wrapping... uh, they just throw it away?

I open my gifts viciously so.. there's no way you can conserve the giftwrapping on my gifts.. even if you tried.. or if you're an gift wrapping doctor-- is there such thing?

YES. lol everyyear. when im open to tear the wrapping off, there like NO! save it..so we have to like a pocket knife and like cut the tape off and try and not to ruin the wrapping... my parents do it with grocery bags too, we have like literally 1000 bags hanging in this closet.

I don't think this applies ONLY to Asian parents...I think some people are like that and some people aren't. I'm one of these people, and I know a lot of people who aren't, and a lot who are. My parents always tell me to rip it out quickly and throw the paper in the garbage, haha.
