Yeah, you have to get XP Pro if you want the remote function.

OMG, theres so many people useing Windows XP Home, no wonder there's so many people pissd off at Windows XP.

XP PRO offers more features, such as being able to customize it and turning off more un-needed junk. Plus it doesn't require as much updates or Validation through Microsoft for tech support.

There is also a patch for XP Home to use Remote Desktop and such.

I have this thing called Longhorn. I dont really know what it is, but I know its a beta version of some windows somethin or another. it has an xp formet, but its much more stable. My mom fiancee got it for me...hes a hacker, so I know he didnt pay for it, but he got it because I was running a lot of music programs on my computer, and music making programs tend to crash a lot...and appaently its more stable. All I know, is when I start up my system, it says longhorn on the user pick page thingy lol.

Actually Windows XP PRO is more stable, and has alot more functions than XP Home does. And as for you mac, you paid around $1,799.00 for it. I don’t know if you upgraded or anything, but the basic iMac G5 20" come only with,

20-inch widescreen LCD
2GHz PowerPC G5
667MHz frontside bus
512K L2 cache
512MB DDR400 SDRAM
250GB Serial ATA hard drive
Slot-load 8x SuperDrive (double-layer)
ATI Radeon 9600
128MB DDR video memory
56k internal modem

Hmmm, I could get that for about $1,000 in the PC world. And mac users wonder why people choose PCs?

K/Ubuntu owns Linspire.

I remember seeing Lindows in action a while back, and I didn't like it.

All that HD space and no DVD burner..... ohmy.gif I've used at least 800 gigs on DVDs and such, I have 1 raid control and that’s at 2 terabytes, and then my other 500 gig that’s the M drive for all my movies.(Which are LEGAL) I have like 340 mb left on the M drive. I need to get another 500 gig. And what’s funny, Is that I own a Dell....... This week I plan on buying a Intel Pentium Extreme Edition Dual Core w/ HT Tech (3.20GHz, 800FSB)...... All that Processor speed and no programs that will use it all.

Windows XP Pro is the best. It's been the easiest system I've ever worked with. I still enjoy Linux, though.
