u should definately go to the doctor, and apply rubbing alcohol to the infected area...u might want to use a triple anitbiotic cream or something overnight, and try wearing silver or gold earring when it clears up so it doesn't get infected again...

Umm.. What I normally do, is just take the earring out everyday and clean it, and in the mean time, go buy a new set of earrings and put them in, because like me, you may be allergic to fake metal. Try claires or a store like that with quality earrings. Good Luck!

Take a Q tip and put alchol or peroxide ( spelling.
ALSO You can go to the places where they pierce ears and they have a gel stuff to put on it. Hope that helps |

rubbing alcohol is too strong for the skin on ur earlobe and near ur piercing. so do salt soaks. thats how i fixed my cartilage piercing and i healed my bellybutton piercing with saltsoaks.
salt soaks For piercing cleaning/healing. Soaking an angry or new piercing in warm saltwater is one of the best things you can do for it. Many use saltwater as their only cleanser. Hot, it's a natural astringent and can be helpful in drawing out infection and pus. Most piercers prefer non-iodized sea salt; although some people have found that normal table salt can be an effective substitute. Conversely, most agree that epsom salts should not be used. The most common mix is a quarter teaspoon of salt per 8oz of water. The solution should taste as salty as your tears. (taken from the bme encyclopedia cuz i cudnt b bothered to xplain what salt soaks are) |
