html help, i'm just not a master yet at it Options

hey guys, i'm having a little trouble with some html stuff. Well, I put a playlist in the top of my site (i had to put it in the "input your own html header" thing) and then i still wanted some writing at the top. Well, i figured out how to get the writing above that, but is it possible to get a color in back of the writing at the top? I tried something but i know its not working. I'm trying to get some red in back of it.

here's what i have:

thanks, but is it possible to have a certain group of words on one side and then another set on the other side? like "whatever i put in here" aligned on the left and then "something else" aligned on the right?
