Doesn't affect me considering I never read a Harry Potter book but it better be good or I will have to hear my friends complain how lame it was.

two more days biggrin.gif mm, do you think its possible for the book to be sold out on the release date? because i didn't have time to preorder it so yeahh.. cause my friend keeps saying it'll get sold out the first day?

It's definitely possible. With the last book, I couldn't get a hold of copy until like, 2 weeks after. But then again, I live in crappy Connecticut. And in Torrington, they don't give a shit about books. T_T


But yeah, a store in Canada put out the books last Thursday by mistake and sold a copy. But a judge ruled that the buyers had to keep it to themselves and whatnot. And a drugstore in NY sold a copy but the kid returned it. Pssh. I'd have kept it!

Yes, it's a possibility it will be sold out.

Amazon had in almost a million preorders, and that was awhile ago, possibly two weeks ago.

Stores have been taking preorders, and obviously those books are already reserved. There will be only so many books available (pending how many they were allowed to ordered) that will be available to purchase without having preordered.

You can try your like at a 24 hour store, and go in around 12:01am to buy the book, or get up early in the morning and try going to a drug store (Walgreens/CVS) or go to a place that ISNT a bookstore (as they'll be the ones hit up the hardest.)

My grandma pre-ordered but she's going to be reading it first.. so I'm just going to hide a copy for myself at work. I work overnight, so I'll be able to see all of them, since we'll have to stock them :D

I remember pre ordering the last book,

It came 2 days after it was out

and i found out that my drugstore had a million copies......I coulda just walked there.....*doh*

*does the Harry Potter dance* Wheeee!!! And I read the 4th book in 3rd grade. o_o;; Surely the 5th book isn't too long for some of you to read.

Anyhoo, I am going insane. I'm counting down the minutes (literally) until the 6th book comes out. happy.gif w00tay!

OMG I CAN'T WAIT!

I heard that with your book (if it's a reserved B&N copy) you get a green bracelet, like the Livestrong ones, with a phoenix and July 16th on it. You also get a poster with Mary Grandpre Art, hmm, did anyone else hear this?

muahah yes they said every one who has a reserved copy gets a bracelet :3 barnes and noble is having a harry potter fair starting at 9 and im going with my friends XD and we are going to be first in line at 11 to get our bracelets!

The chapter titles were leaked. And page 606 supposedly got leaked as well... It seems as though Dumbledore will be killed. < Hightlight to read.

Yea, only the paperbacks had the summary on the back, the hardcover ones had them inside the cover panels.
