wow, peoples' stupidity never ceases to amaze me. while i am not the biggest fan of the color guard, its better to have them than not. actually i saw a band without a color guard, and it wass just sad. ours is pretty good, though they were a good deal better last year. still, they won our class 2/3 competions.
woodwinds are better

my friend was guarding today during the christmas parade, however, civil air patrol colorguard is much different than band colorguard.

I love colorguard. But I'm in choir...lol.
My friends wanted me to join colorguard and winterguard but I don't have enough time  It looks fun to toss around rifles, sword-type stuff, and flags.

i think the twirling flag things are SOOO COOOL. i wanted to join winterguard as prep for colorguard but i couldnt make winter. so now i sit and twirl a broomstick. am i lame or what

Colorguard is really sick if everything's completely synchronized. However, most colorguards can't performe their routines that perfectly..

I was going to do winterguard this year (would have done colorguard, but I play an instrument where there are only 11 of us in all 4 grades so I had to stick with that) but I couldnt, I had too much stuff going on, I wouldn't have been able to make practices. So maybe next year.

i did winterguard in 7th grade and parade in 8th grade but winterguard is so much better. most teams really aren't worth watching unless they're in the open class or higher. i <3 LOGAN AND RAIDERS <3<3<3<3
