at my school the yearbook club organized the voting for 'cutest couple, best smile, most stylish, most likley to be famous..' and so on &so on. Well my best friend reeally was shooting to win most stylish. which she is, she has the whole 80's-look going on. the only problem is that all of these people keep on comming up to me telling me that they voted for me for most stylish. & just incase that isnt enough to anger my best friend, a few monthes ago we got in a big fight because she says i was copying her style rolleyes.gif . so i apologized even though i didnt agree with her and now we are really good friends again. if i do win she'll be really hurt and.. furious with me. i honestly have no desire to be declared 'the most stylish' in the yearbook.. what should i do??

i think i may be getting ahead of myself, i dont know if ive won for sure yet.
god, i really hope that i dont. if i do it'll just be drama drama drama..

Bleh your friends paranoid. I guess she wants to be noticed by your school. I think she is as well insecure about the whole appearance thing...you can't change the results but if your friend does get mad at you, she'll get over it.

yeah i agree. your friend's being quite childish. i hope it all works out for you and your friend though. she'll get over it.

You can't do anything. I'm in yearbook, and whatever the results are is what they are, no one can change them. Honestly, even if the staff tried to change it, we'd get chewed out by our advisor _unsure.gif . Wish there ya somethin' ya could do. Good luck. wacko.gif

dude she should get over herself

its a YEARBOOK NOMINATION. what grade are you in?

if she cant deal with you being "more" stylish than shes not really a good friend. she sounds like shes cares more about clothes and what others think of her rather than your frienship

I'm in the 8th grade, &i realize that this isnt a significant issue. its only a yearbook, this wont matter to anyone a month from now. i was just wondering if there was any way to avoid hurting my friend.
