If you lose one, it's possible to cut the other spring in half and use it, but make sure the spring is long enough in the first place. 3. Clean the place where the key was with q-tips and the toothbrush till all/most of the dirt has gone. Then wipe over with a piece of the cloth. 4. Clean the key with cloth slightly dampened in the cleaning solution. Clean out the underneath of the key with the toothbrush. 5. Replace key firmly in it's correct place. 6. If you clean your keyboard properly, it should take about an hour to do. After you've replaced all the keys, give the edges and front a wipe over with the cloth and a little cleaning solution till all the dirt is removed. Then clean with a dry cloth.
