simple banner...

1] you open a NEW document. File>New
make it 220 (width in pixels) by 90 (heigth in pixels)

2] take a picture you want or picture you want to put in...( file>open> the picture you want)
use the POLYGONAL LASSO (its the second to last top tool that is closest to the left corner. it should look like a lasso. to make it a polygonal lasso, just click on it and chose polygonal lasso.)

3] use the polygonal lasso to trace your picture by clicking on edges and curves to shape the picture's shape.

4] after you have connected the polygonal lassso, click and drag the traced picture to your new document that you have opened in the beginning.

5] now open your BRUSHES window. (window>brush) and click brushes to decorate your banner.

THE END!!! _smile.gif

or try ... soompi.com/forums
go to their tutorial section and read CHEAH"S TUTORIALS

congratulations for downloading adobe photoshop 7 !
a banner.. but a piece of artwork designed on your computer.
it's really easy.. you won't need paint!
first things first.
a banner is basically a picture riight.. so

don't know how to use 'em?
k, when your using your brush, there should be a little blue arrow on the side of the brush window thing.. click on it and go to "Load Brushes".. then find where you downloaded the brush and voila !
