Right. There's this girl I like at our school. She's really pretty. I remember passing her in the hallway last year and "wow!"ing (every other day...). This year she's in one of my classes and sits really close to me, but I haven't said a word to her yet. I want to ask her out, but I have no idea how to approach her without being awkward. Any ideas?

You're being stupid.
Slowly talk to her. She sits close to you? Take it to your advantage. From your post, it only seems like you like her because she's "really pretty." She can end up being the biggest b*tch in the world, maybe not. |

get to know her first, then ask her out. it'll be much easier if the both of you are comfortable with each other

I agree, just ask her "hey I saw you around last year. My name is ________." If she doesn't reply back and talk, then maybe she doesn't like you lol. But even so, get to know her first. Don't just judge her on how she looks. How do you know she isn't a mean person or anything? No offense or anything. But yea, get to know her more and ask her some things about class. Whenever you see her walking to the class that you two are about to have, casually walk by, say hello, and walk with her, asking her what class she had before, or how was her morning/day, etc. Don't be too sudden and scare her. Just casually walk by. Don't scream out her name or anything so she'd see you. Who knows, she might even be asking you if she could walk with you

Just like everyone else says, get to know her. Have confidence in yourself. If you have the ability to talk to her and get to know her, I'm sure she'll see that you have courage that some guys don't have.
Don't give up hope and hopefully things will work out with you guys |
