You can't get free domain names.. You can get free SUBdomains, but free domains are impossible.

A domain would let you upload your own things and have your own website. basically.

SHawty: like everyone else said, domains are never going to be free (unless in rare cases). But you can get subdomains (i.e. fireshrieker.web1000.com or something like that). or you can get a redirection name (www.fireshrieker.tk that leads to fireshrieker.web1000.com) for free.

well its more flexible then regular xangas and s stuff. You can make your own rules, and do what ever you want with it. ITs much more flexible also. If my dad let me buy a domain i would definately go for it

It's basically your own website.. Like www.yourdomain.com or .net. Way cool. You can host people and have subdomains, and you have a lot more freedom.. If you have absolute NO experience in webdesign and html, then getting a domain is kind of pointless.. Yeah.

domains arent free. cause they come with space. if u just want a domain name, you have to pay. unless you get a .tk domain, which is a redirection. but there are redirection domain name services, but u still have to pay. so i guess you'll have to pay unless u get a free redirector.
