Right now I'd probably pick the DS just because I don't see any games out for PSP that I'm interested in..but if they'd have any Final Fantasy games out, I'd definitely pick PSP because of being able to watch movies and browse the net..

^ Yeah all we know is that it focuses on Cloud, Sephiroth, and Zack, and Aeris is a possible character in the game.

Well Final Fantasy VII remake for the PSP wouldn't be so bad, or some of the classic Final Fantasy games such as VI.

PSP is getting a lot of good games, the problem is they're compilations of old games, or ported old games. It's power going to waste.

I chose a DS over PSP, but only because I wanted to play my Pokémon games on a lighted screen. It's still pretty sweet though.

so many people own a psp in my school including me and i only know of two people owning a DS. of course that doesn't make the PSP better.
i don't have too much knowledge on the DS but then the PSP has all these cracked filmwares and homebrew games, i like that. too poor to buy games. currently playing: GTA liberty city on my WHITE psp ^^ |

i like how no one really cares about the psp anymore, at least, no one i know. DS, expecially now with the lite, seems to be dominate.
and can't the DS play movies and music as well? |

It's not a feature I'm overly excited about, but I guess it's not a bad thing to have. I think it might come out later this year, but I think that's for Japan. Don't know about stateside. Yeah, I guess people shoplift from them. They checked my bag and receipt when I was leaving as well. In fact, they wouldn't even let me touch the DS Lite until after I had finished paying for it. An employee brought it to the register.
