+duration: 2 hours. +feat: Ashlee Simpson +tools: Adobe Photoshop +comments: i worked pretty hard on it and i'm pretty satisfied. so what do you think? (xanga).

i completely agree with everyones comments. Great use of a grungy feel. The eyes stand out for me...that seems to be the focal point of the image. And I love the clean cut effect of the blog and modules against the grungy, dirty banner. Unique, Different, Good Stuff!

 but the ashlee simpson image on your layout is ... wow. it's so clean and the colors are so nice. good job! but the rest of your layout is a bite too plain for me. but nice job!

Everything is too scruched. You need to widen the modules and widen the body/header. Everything added together should be about as wide as where "HEAD UP HIGH" ends, otherwise it looks off balance.

yeah, i love the grungy look, it goes SUPER well with the picture, well, it's just that you used so much time on the banner but the navigation seemed neglected... the navigation's coloring doesn't really match that well with the banner and other than the navigation and the banner, it's a little plain... a banner?
