i can't get the image map i made to overlap the background in the right place. i tried mapping the whole thing, but then the blogspace wouldn't go overtop. it's an awesome layout, but it's going to go to waste if i don't get this figured out. so check it out, see if you can help. mytestersite

The image mapping works perfectly. You just need to keep positioning the image map to where the background is.

i know that the image map works perfectly. however, it's got that cushioned space around it, and there's no cause for it. all my border values and padding values are zero! no sense whatsoever.

you have to adjust that suchioned space, just move the image map directly over the background and since its in the center move the image map in the center as well

QUOTE(gotnoheart @ Nov 29 2004, 4:23 PM) you have to adjust that suchioned space, just move the image map directly over the background and since its in the center move the image map in the center as well it already is directly over the background. the background takes up the whole window, while the image map should only cover the left part. i need to make the two line up. why is this so complicated? maybe your answers aren't quite clear enough. |
