Stick to the proverb: If it's too good to be true, then it's too good to be true. (Or something like that..)

There are people who con on ebay. That's why you should always check their profile and see what other users have rated them. Obviously if he has a bad rating, he must be a con, and you shouldn't trust people with no rating at all. Just sticke with people who have good ratings and good reviews.

If i find something i like from ebay, my mom will bid on it _smile.gif I found it last summer, and so i've gotten quite a few things from there

When they con you, you report them on ebay and you will get your money back. I've had people like that, but they get warned, and you'll get a full refund wink.gif

My mom's bought stuff off of Ebay for me before and we've never gotten conned..the whole process just takes awhile..i mean the bidding and waiting to see if you've won and then the shipping and everything else..but it was worth it.

Honey, that's why you look at the Positive Feedback words and it says the percentage. Plus, if you get conned, you can always complain to eBay, I believe. My boyfriend's bought some stuff off of eBay. But your stuff has a CHANCE of being damaged through the mail, so you hvae to hope that the sender will package it well so that it won't break, if it is something that would break.

Actually, no, I think eBay will try to get the money from that person. Plus, you have to have a usename to bid and whatnot. I bet that person would probably bid on things as well. BOO conners. I've never bidded on anything, so I wouldn't know for sure. I've just heard from other bidders.

98.9% of the things on Ebay aren't legit.

Unless you know what you're doing, you probably will get conned.
I still buy things tho occasionally, like shoes.

no, the person must give back the money. That's why it's best to use paypal, cuz then ebay can just take it directly out of their account without having to mess with them. I am not an expert but i have ran into a con person before. Also, try to get people with 100% feedback!
