When Dumbledore died in HBP .. and when Sirius died in OotP .. the ending of Memoirs Of A Geisha made me cry when The Chairman finally told Sayuri how he felt for her .. ahh it made me cry but in a good way.

I almost cried when Dumbledore died too. Also in A Child Called "It" and the sequel to that.

Oh, and this book called "A Rose for Melinda". I think I cried when I read that. Loved the book though. It was so sad/cute/bittersweet.

All that comes to mind right now is the end of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.

There are many books that I felt like I should cry, but I just couldn't I guess it's all in the writing if it was even the slightest bit cheesy, I would realize it and laugh instead of cry. I think probably the second time I read "twilight" by stephanie meyer I might have cried, but I can't really remember. And since everyone has brought it up, yes HP made me cry, the 5th one more than the 6th.

I cry at just about every book I read. If there's an extremely happy part, or a really sad part. I'll cry at anything. More books than movies though.

every book by lauren mcdaniel has made me SOB.
they're all about people who get diagnosed with some sort of cancer or disease, and most of them pass away in the end... but they're great books.
