I had used a code that I could put in my profile, etc, where a heart would appear but i used a new layout and now the hearts are turned to squares. Can anyone tell me why this happened?

I used this to make a heart------> "&#9829"

I'm not sure what you're saying here. Do you mean the heart has turned to a white square with a red X in the middle? or has it just actually turned into a square. If it turned into white with an x, then the the url address for the pix you got, somehow messed up. Recheck the url, if it still is right, go back to the site where you got it, and check if it is still in use. And if the layout doesn't let you have anything in the left modules, then nothing would appear and the pix would probably get those white-x things, so if thats the case then forget the hearts and stick with the middle layout or if you like the hearts, then go back to your old layout or find a new one that has a left side module so your hearts work biggrin.gif oh, and if none of that works and i'm wrong and ur hearts are actually turning into little pink squares...then well i say you just find new hearts neway _smile.gif hehe hoped i helped~K

Ok, NOW i see what you were talking about. Well the hearts that are posted where the dates are , are looking pretty good. (by the way, nice site!) But yah the hearts in your profile and your comments and eprops look like a squashed tomatoes hehe. whistling.gif ok sorry, here we go.....the code is still working (as you can see from where your dates are posted) But the problem is that your text is too small where the other hearts are posted, that's why they look kinda boxed up. Try making the text a little bigger! That should do it. You can either go into your layout that you got and simply change the text size where it indicates(like just the text that controls the comments and profile, ect...). it's pretty straightforward, but if you can't do that or can't figure it out then try a new layout that offers a bigger text so your hearts can look like hearts biggrin.gif I don't think they look bad at all tho...so i wouldn't lose sleep over it _smile.gif But yah so just change the font size and you'll be fine. awww and i love Puss N' Boots from Shrek 2. sooo cute!
