At least you told her how you feel. And it seems like she doesn't see you as a boyfriend-type. It's really tough, since you are so close with her. Someone I know would never date a good friend of his, even though at one time he had feelings for her. He was scared that it might've ruined their friendship, and everything might be wierd. She probably only sees you as brother/friend
 But at least you told her. She is with some other guy, and maybe you should move on. It IS just middle school. I mean, you CAN wait. But see if there's other girls out there. I agree with krnxswat, plenty of fish in the ocean =P There's plenty of girls at your school, no? Expand your horizons. Haha I always wanted to say that

Well...I think it made it easier to tell her cause we were and still are really close friends. Well I guess "Whatever happens, happens..."
