QUOTE
the ones that are different colors arent by lance armstrong are they?

they are the fake ones and arent by lance armstrong... the only real ones are the yellow bands that say made in china [everything is lyk made in china] in the inside... all the rest of the colors are fake if it only says livestrong... but not all yellow bands are real so ya hafta be careful because u may just paid money to a person making money off of them and not for cancer reasearch

wow. wow. wow. i cannot believe how many shallow ppl replied in this topic. all these ppl said "no and i don't want one" or "who cares" and "only losers wear them" blah blah. you ppl are soo un grateful! my lord, do you even know what its about? its NOT a latest fashion craze, its NOT a stupid marketing devise, its NOT a instant popualrity thing. mad.gif it means something! its for cancer research with lance armstrong's charity (you kno the guy that won the tour de france umm...lemmie see...6 times in a row?? oh yea and he beat CANCER). god. _dry.gif i bought mine because i knew that it was for a great cause and i didn't want to "be in with the in crowd". stop being so selfish.

i ordered one from my school but yeah, my school never give it to me yet... it will probably be out of style by the time i get it  _dry.gif

uhit shouldn`t really matter if it is in style or not. the reason you wear it should be because you are supporting cancer or the troops or whatever the bracelet is for...

QUOTE
nope.. i think they're ugly.. and it looks like you just want to fit in.. and im not down for that=] oh and only losers wear them.. lOL

uhm how could it be that only LOSER wear them? saying that right there made you sound really ignorant. obviously you have no clue what they really stand for. and while some people might wear them to fit in others wear it because they actually care and want to show their support.

QUOTE
eh. no, i dont have one. i personally dont like those lol. maybe just cus ppl r wearing them not to support whatever this livestrong thing is, but simply because it goes with what they wear. LAME. one of the saddest trends ive seen at my school T_T

how could you not like something that supports a good cause? and just because other people might wear them because they think it is a trend, doesn`t mean that you can`t wear it and actually wear it to support the foundations.

i didnt say there was anything wrong with wearing livestrong bracelets to support it, afterall, thats what its for. maybe i should have stated that not EVERYONE wears them trying to follow a trend or because it makes them look better, but the MAJORITY of people wearing them is because of that reason. i bet more than half the ppl who have them dont even know what it stands for or the purpose of those. i dont have anything against livestrong, but there are other ways of supporting it that i'd rather consider than wearing a bracelet that ppl have turned into a trend

no, but everyone i know has one. I don't like doing the whole following the crowd thing, it turned me off to it. If everyone wasn't buying one, then yeah i'd get one. But now my neighbors dog has one, so...yah no. JEEZ and don't go trashin me and going, "IT'S NOT A FASHION STATEMENT!!!" and all that shit. yah i know that, we all know that. We all have our own opinions to this. I'd buy one, and give that money to the cancer research, but i would give the bracelet away to someone who would want to wear it more then i would...good god, and were not being selfish or nething becuz we didn't buy the bracelet. I find praying and being there for the ppl who have cancer has more affect then buying a bracelet and hoping that money really goes to helping these kids. i mean c'mon now...this topic is ridiculous cuz we're all getting trashed on here, if i was a mod i would close this, cuz there are 100 topics on it already, and ppl are just getting yelled at if they didn't get the bracelet

My cousins from Arizona gave them for Christmas this year along with shoes. And they sent them early, like four weeks ago, so I am wearing it.
