Its actually the flouride that helps... I had to get a teeth cleaning one day and liquid floride spray on my face... the next day my face was clean 0.0

If you use Crest / Colgate (the paste - not gel), it works. It has like 0.28% CaF (calcium flouride) and that is soluable in water. You have to wet your face before you put toothpaste on so that CaF dissolves into Ca and F ions. Flourine is one of the most reactive atoms cuz it has the highest electronegativity and b/c of that it'll bond to mostly anything... So it works - Just remember to put some Vitamin E after ur done

I've never tried that toothpaste thing. I read somewhere to use Listerine, and it actually helped a bit. But now I just use Proactiv for my acne (I'm so happy, it's practically nonexistant thanks to that stuff). I use Rembrandt.

QUOTE(caytexo @ Nov 22 2004, 6:33 PM) toothpaste usually doesnt work...but the cream proactiv works wonders! I do agree because i used that once and it worked like a charm! I should warn you, only use it for emergencies, because you're body could get immune to the cream.... |
