i have no idea what a floozie or ripper is? and i used to want to get one done but then my friend told me that they make your breath stink for some reason, so when my other friend got hers, we both realized that her breath stinks w/ them, so now she always has mints in her mouth

I was told tongue rings were what lesbians wore to "identify" who is a lesbian and who's not. Kinda like when gay men would wear earrings only on a certain ear and that would mean they were gay.

That's what I was told . . . don't know if it's true though.

Just do it. Defy the stereotype. Like other people have said, who cares what they think.

No, my sister has a tongue ring. She's not slut or ripper, people don't think she's one either.

Firstly, no it's not fair that things are automatically assumed. But that's the nature of humans. We like to draw (sometimes unfair) inferences.

Secondly, it shouldn't matter what someone else thinks of you as long as you know that you're not what they say you are. If you let yourself believe that, then they've won.

Yeah I wear I fake wun too :)

How do you wear a fake tounge ring? Lol. I want to know because I want one, but I can't get one until I turn 17. [May 16, 2005] So, I atleast want to look like I have one now. Lol. laugh.gif

Yet, you should still get your tounge pierced and you shouldn't give a fxck what other people think of you. Argh, I absolutely hate stereotypes.

Mmmkai.. maybe ya`ll know ready fO` tha word ripper. I guess it`s just a bay area thing..

(She`s a runner and a ripper prostyle gell and beauty supply slippers)

ANYWAYS.. but reading all the threads on the post it should be REALLY clear what a "ripper" is now.. If not... try using context clues :)

I really don't think that's true. If so, that's something really quite trivial.
